Developing Good Writing Skills
Rejection. Success. Failure. Being visible. Being invisible. Not having anything worthwhile to write. The blank page. The page filled with junk. The little voice of the inner critic that says, “Your friends and family will recognize themselves and be angry.” “No one will want to read what you write.” “Your ideas are bland, boring.” “Your ideas are too controversial.” “You’ll never make enough money.” “You’ll hurt other people.” “No publisher will accept it.” On and on.
In the early 1990’s, I finally figured out I needed a successful trading Philosophy, to build my foundation of trading knowledge around. I studied many of the world’s best traders. This included William J. O’Neil, Jesse Livermore, Bernard Baruch, Gerald Loeb, Nicolas Darvas, Richard Dennis, W.D. Gann, Jack Dreyfus, Amos Hostetter, and others. I found out they all traded with the trend. They were for the most part, trend followers. I based my trading Philosophy on the same premise as many of the world’s best traders.
Racing to the future or rehashing the past of writing experiences does not help you write your book in the present moment. Not when you sit in front of your computer or with a notebook and writing implement in hand. Not when you take a walk in the park or a shower, have a great idea, but use a negative past experience or fear to talk yourself out of writing it down and exploring it. Not when you are lying in bed awake at 3 a.m., in overload because of all that is involved in having a writing career today, then can’t write the next morning because you’ve deflated yourself.
Most word processing tools come with a spelling checker and a grammar checker, but nothing beats an actual human reviewing the final draft. Spelling and grammar checkers will oftentimes miss things, so as obvious as this advice sounds, you really do need to review your article for errors after you’ve finished essay on writer it.
The key to good writing is to get into that state where the words just flow with ease and effortlessness. There are different ways to reach that creative flow, and you may need to experiment to find what works best for you. One of the keys to entering the state of flow is to simply focus on the step you’re on; in this case, the writing. You’ve already got your blueprint in place so you don’t need to worry about that, and you don’t need to worry about editing what you’re writing – that’s the next step. Try to bypass your inner critic. Don’t judge the work before you’re finished, or you may never finish: you’ll simply end up in the sticky web of perfectionist paralysis!

pay for essay closer attention to the word count. Essay assignments sometimes do not specify the word number. So don’t you think the more is the better and swallow your verbosity! Essays are like a woman’s skirt: not too short to cover up the shame and not too long to keep you interested.
Fifth, does it explain what is wrong with the world and how to address it? If not, what value is it to you? It may be that all it offers you is an excuse to do as you please, right or wrong, and lead you to only making things worse. I believe that humans are seriously flawed because we don’t listen to our creator and therefore create our own problems, yet I also believe that creator has provided a solution that allows me to eventually overcome all those problems if I follow my creator’s instructions.
11 – Put your office in the quietest spot you can find. Maybe it’s a garage with no windows or an attic closet. Writing requires concentration, and distractions can come from sounds (people talking, traffic noise, etc) and also from objects that cause your mind to stray. Many professional writers try to make their offices as remote and as plain (bare) as possible.
As you putt try to notice the back of the ball being struck by your putter and hold the image of your target in your mind, count to 3 seconds before looking sideways to see your putt rolling. Now just notice with interest how closely it is doing what you imagined it was going to do. No emotions, no good or bad, just compare the actual putt with what you visualised it doing. You are going to become completely absorbed at putting in order to see how close your actual putt is compared to what your instincts decided.
